Stop guessing what to learn next.
The Skill Forge turns a learner's goal, level, time, and budget into a sharper learning path. Originally presented as an award-recognized university startup project, now being rebuilt for private beta.

The problem
The wrong course costs more than money.
Most learners do not fail because they lack motivation. They lose time, trust, and momentum because the course was a bad fit for their level, constraints, or direction.
Marketplaces optimize for browsing.
Learners are left sorting thousands of courses with filters that rarely understand intent, career direction, or starting point.
Signals are noisy.
Ratings can be inflated, contextless, or irrelevant to your level. A five-star course can still be the wrong move.
The real cost is hidden.
Certificate fees, tool requirements, time commitment, prerequisites, and weak outcomes often appear after the learner is already invested.
One-off advice is not enough.
A recommendation can sound confident while missing active links, hidden tradeoffs, level fit, and the next step.
Product promise
Course discovery, rebuilt around fit.
The Skill Forge is an intelligence layer over the fragmented course market. It turns intent into a path, then makes the tradeoffs visible before a learner commits.
Understands the goal
Career-aligned inputs capture what you are trying to become, not just the topic you typed.
Maps the constraints
Skill level, budget, time per week, certificate needs, location, format, and urgency become part of the decision.
Builds the path
The output is a staged learning route with course options, fit reasoning, and next actions.
The output is not “here are ten courses.” It is a clearer route from intent to action.
How it works
From career goal to course shortlist in minutes.
Tell us your goal
A role, skill direction, exam, project, promotion, or career switch.
Add your constraints
Current skills, education level, budget, time, mode, deadline, and preference signals.
Get a learning path
A structured route from starting point to target outcome, not a loose list of links.
Compare the options
Shortlisted courses with fit reasons, tradeoffs, warning markers, and active next steps.
Save your direction
Private beta users help shape saved shortlists, updated paths, and deeper course intelligence.
Advanced users can add more signal: current education level, skills, location, provider preference, certificate importance, deadline, learning format, and preferred learning style.
Course intelligence
Designed for decisions, not browsing sessions.
The beta is being built to compare public course signals and active course sources where available, without pretending every provider, rating, or review is verified.
Profile-aware recommendations
Learning path generation
Active course links
Multi-provider discovery
Course fit reasoning
Budget and time awareness
Level and prerequisite matching
Course comparison
Hidden cost awareness

Decision layer
A better answer is not a list. It is a path.
The Skill Forge is being built as a structured course intelligence layer: source-aware, link-aware, profile-aware, comparison-first, and focused on fit.
A normal shortlist
Good for exploration. Risky when the learner needs active sources, level fit, and a real path through constraints.
The Skill Forge
Source-aware rather than name-only.
Link-aware rather than static.
Profile-aware rather than generic.
Comparison-first rather than list-first.
Built around paths, constraints, and next actions.
Private beta
Help shape the course intelligence layer before it opens wider.
The Skill Forge is being rebuilt for private beta. Early access is for learners, operators, and teams who want a sharper way to choose what to learn next.
Responses are used to prioritize beta access and understand real course-selection friction.
No authentication. No fake job guarantees. No provider partnership claims.
Origin
Started as a course discovery project. Rebuilt as a customer-first startup.
Created by Vansh Mohan, a First Class Honours Computer Systems Engineering graduate, The Skill Forge began as a course discovery project and is now being revived and modernized as a private beta.
The original idea was simple: learners should not have to reverse-engineer course quality, difficulty, costs, and relevance on their own. The new version keeps that DNA and sharpens it into profile-aware learning path intelligence.
